Edited to add: As a reminder, you do not need to be a
ladiesbigbang participant to pinch hit. We welcome anyone and everyone!
The pinch hitting period for complements has officially begun. In the first round of pinch hits, we will be trying to find complementers for those who turned in rough drafts but weren't claimed. If we are able to take care of all those pinch hits, we will then be moving onto to everyone else.
We could really use pinch hitters of any kind -- graphic artists, podficcers, writers, meta writers, iconners, etc. We'd love to match up as many complementers with creators as possible.
Complements may be in any medium other than the project medium. (If you and your creator communicate and decide to work out something different, that's okay with us, but for the purposes of pinch hitting please only claim projects you feel confident you can complement with a different medium.)
For projects where it is applicable (projects that have multiple parts, fandoms represented or media), you may complement only a certain part of the project. Especially because these are pinch hits, if you see a project and think "I could make a little something for that," please do go ahead and claim it -- at this point because the clock is ticking down, we're really looking to get people *something*, so for example if you're a graphic artist willing to make graphic fic covers in fandoms that aren't your own, that's perfectly acceptable.
For the time being, we will not be putting a limit on how many pinch hits a complementer can claim (though someone who hasn't claimed any will receive priority over someone who already has), but do be realistic about your time commitments.
To become a pinch hitter, you can subscribe to the email list here. The pinch hits will be going out over the next few days and we can use all the help we can get.
