Sign-ups for Round 1 are now CLOSED.

Please note:

Sign-ups will be open through April 30. Remember, you may participate even if you do not sign up (more details here); sign-ups are for folks who want to make use of support structure, be considered for complementary fanwork, and/or appreciate the accountability of sign-ups.
You are not required to be matched with a beta or cheerleading.
You are only required to choose a fandom now if you would like to be matched with a fandom-specific beta or cheerleader.
If you wish to create original content, you must indicate it in your sign-up, particularly if you're interested in being matched with a beta or cheerleader.
If you are a mixed media/mixed category participant that has contacted us and been approved, please list the percentages you were sent under the "category" section.
For co-creating teams: only one person needs to submit the initial sign-up, but every other person participating in the co-creation must also comment to it confirming their participation.
Be sure that you have read the Challenge Overview and Rules & Guidelines for Creators before signing up.

I've got Naomi Sandburg, and Grace Ellison so far, and maybe a fem slash with the Russian chicks(names escape me right now)

It's kind of funny, but I didn't find a lot of stories that really were about the ladies, vs stories that had women characters but were mostly about the men.

I didn't find any that appealed to me, in that the story acknowledges that Alex is a sociopath, but makes me feel sorry that that's the way her life turned out.

I've got five stories, but if you know of a good Alex story that has that view of her, send me a link. I might podfic it anyway, just not for the challenge.

Hi, sorry about that, I wasn't sure where to put what information because the help I'm looking for is somewhere in between a cheerleader and a beta. I don't need a cheerleader in addition to a beta.

Did you see what I wrote after the question about fandom or general beta? I meant that to apply to the four questions as far as "what kind of help do you need?" I'm just recording other people's fics, so from *my* perspective it doesn't matter whether the beta knows fandom or not. But from the beta's perspective, it might be pretty tedious to listen to and critique hours of Merlin fanfic if they're not a fan.

If this is difficult for you to find I can go and ask some people myself, but if you happen to have any volunteers willing to help out newbies then that is what I am looking for.
