If you're an author who has written stories that falls under the definition of "woman-centric" (for the purposes of this challenge, that's considered something that predominantly/primarily features a woman/women) and would like to give permission to audioficcers participating in the challenge, leave a comment here. <strike>
You have three options for granting permission:
- blanket permission ("you can podfic any of my stories")
- specific permission (listing stories that you consider applicable for this challenge and/or listing only a specific fandom or character you'd like to offer)
- a combination (listing stories you consider most applicable but also granting blanket permission in case there's a fic somewhere you've forgotten)
Suggested format for listing specific stories:
Fandom, title, character/s or pairing, rating, wordcount. Those last two are optional but appreciated.

Date: 2010-03-21 11:53 pm (UTC)Specific that come to mind:
Fast and Furious, Twisting Road, PG-13, 2278 words.
DC Comics, Shadows and Darkness, PG-13, 8818
I know that second one is long, but it's got places where it could be broken, if someone wanted to do part of it. But seriously, anything I have is free game.
ETA: Sorry, I do have one exception. Anything with 'Jack' from Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick is not allowed, because Jack has taken up non-female, non-male residence in my head, though I know many fans refer to Jack as female (especially fans of the last movie).

Date: 2010-03-22 12:19 am (UTC)Off the top of my head, a few specific stories that might work (and I would love to have podficced) are:
Torchwood, And You Loved Things Just Because, Tosh, PG, 1509
Torchwood, And You, My Love, Are Gone, Tosh/Suzie, PG, 726
Torchwood, Come Back and Haunt Me, Tosh/Suzie, PG, 644
Doctor Who, A Proportional Response, Harriet Jones/Yvonne Hartman, PG, 1736
May I podfic "Come Back And Haunt Me?"
Date: 2011-05-11 04:28 am (UTC)I am not that familiar with Torchwood, but do like the story very much.
I have an American accent. If you would like to sample my voice before deciding, my one and only podfic is at my website: tlrbaycitylights.tripod dot com and my email is tlrbaycitylights at yahoo dot com

With a note that my flaily glee would be a lot more intense for the Star Trek and Yuletide stuff than it would be for the older Tortall stuff (which is fun but teenagery because I was 15-17 when I wrote most of it).

Date: 2010-03-22 05:00 pm (UTC)A note about this particular entry on my archive:
http://hnsnrachel.dreamwidth.org/56425.html - Technically, this is supposed to be a collection of 'drabbles', but nothing in there is under 500 words, and it features a few pairings that I don't have anywhere else eg. Hillary Clinton/Sarah Palin and Nancy/Valerie from Weeds.

Date: 2010-03-23 12:55 am (UTC)My fanfic index is here, and I would say something like 95% of my stories or so are woman-focused. The latest stories probably haven't made it there yet, but you can find those posted at
I've written an ungodly number of stories in an utterly ridiculous number of fandoms, and if you have any questions or want to know what ones I think would be best podficced (which would be awesome, please drop me a line. :)
