This is it! The first of 3 check-ins for all participants!

You have until 23:59 PDT on 7 June 2010 to respond to this first check-in.

The purpose of this post is twofold.

• Creators/betas/cheerleaders check in on their progress.
  • Creators should be progressing to the point of being approximately 1/3 finished with their projects. This is merely a guideline and is NOT required.
    
  • Cheerleaders/betas check in as to whether they've been in contact with their creators.
  
  
• This is your first "official" chance to drop out if you need to.
  This goes for creators, cheerleaders, and betas. If you need to drop out, that's completely acceptable. We don't require a reason, we just want to know that you're no longer going to be participating in whichever "discipline" you signed up for [creator/beta/cheerleader]. The sooner we know, the sooner we can re-assign support teams if needed.

Remember, creators MUST respond to all three check-in posts AND turn in a completed project on time to be eligible for a complement.

If we don't hear from you, we will assume that you are no longer interested in continuing.

I have the story planned out and uh, I started writing this morning (and it's progressing well now that I've started) after fighting with writer's block for several days. But I do know what the first scenes are going to be and my starting and ending points!

And I'm communicating with my cheerleader. I need to contact my beta however.
