ADMIN :: Second Check-In Post!
This is it! The second of 3 check-ins for all participants!
You have until 23:59 PDT on 8 July 2010 to respond to this first check-in.
We are extending this by one day since we're posting up this check-in a day late.
The purpose of this post is twofold.
This is your second "official" chance to drop out if you need to.
This goes for creators, cheerleaders, and betas. If you need to drop out, that's completely acceptable. We don't require a reason, we just want to know that you're no longer going to be participating in whichever "discipline" you signed up for [creator/beta/cheerleader]. The sooner we know, the sooner we can re-assign support teams if needed.
When checking in, please use the following formula...
Subject line: CREATOR: [name you signed up with]
Body of comment: [Whatever info you feel we should know. This can include how far along you are (just starting, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, finished, etc.) or any other relevant info, but NOT a excerpt of your work.]
Sample check-in
Subject line: CREATOR: ariestess
Body of comment: 1/10th completed thus far, but rolling on like whoa!
Remember, creators MUST respond to all three check-in posts AND turn in a completed project on time to be eligible for a complement.
If we don't hear from you, we will assume that you are no longer interested in continuing. This also means you will NOT be eligible for a complement.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to leave us a comment, PM, or email [ladiesbigbang@gmail.com].

The purpose of this post is twofold.
- Creators check in on their progress.
- Creators should be progressing to the point of being approximately 2/3 finished with their projects. This is merely a guideline and is NOT required.
- Betas/cheerleaders are not required to check in, but can do so if they want [just change the subject line info below to reflect cheerleader/beta status].

I'm podficcing four stories featuring women from the Sentinel fandom. Two are completely done, one is recorded and being edited, and the fourth one I haven't started yet, the author wanted to do some sprucing up of the fic first. That one will be the longest to do.
The stories:
Oil and Water (http://www.janedavitt.com/Oil.html). AU featuring Naomi Sandburg and Alex Barnes, written by Jane Davitt. Completed. Gen, but could be read as pre-femslash. Available in a music and non-music format. 5.03 minutes. (Yeah, it's short but the story is intense)
Forever and Always. (http://852prospect.org/archive/archive/11/foreverand.html) Featuring Naomi Sandburg, a part of the Pine Crest series written by Rent Girl 2. Completed. Gen for Naomi, mention of a relationship between Jim Ellison and Blair Sandburg. Available in a music and non-music format33.3 minutes.
Something Told the Wild Geese (http://www.852prospect.org/archive/archive/24/somethingtold.html). This is only the first part of the story, featuring Naomi Sandburg. The recording ends at a natural break in the story. Written by Blue Wolf. Recorded and in the editing stage (The forever and ever stage, editing is so slow, so very, very slow to complete)Het. . Will be approximately an hour long podfic.
Not even started on: Maternal Instinct by Autumn Skies. The story is about 14000 words long and mostly features Grace Ellison, Naomi Sandburg is also in the story, but mostly it's about Grace. Probably the podfic will be around 2 and a half hours long.
There were several others I was interested in doing but I either couldn't get permission to podfic or the stories were about 50 words too short to use for a podfic.

I did links to the story, but for some reason they didn't work. Funny that in the preview they looked correct.
Sorry about that.

One of these days I'm going to clean up my LJ and then get a DW account. I haven't done it yet because I don't want to to do it twice, if I import my LJ.
