I'm around 2/3rds done, with around 10,000 words and in total I don't think it'll be much over 15,000. I've also caught two major 'the world does not work that way' (or, more accurately, 'British politics don't work that way') points so far. Research! It's a good thing.

Also, my characters have decided this fic is going to be more about them as people and less about politics. Which is both easier and harder to write.
